# Deposit Assets

Depositing assets to Knightrade (only for investors)

Knightrade provides a seamless and transparent process for investors to deposit to vaults on the platform. Follow this step-by-step guide to ensure you successfully participate in vault deposits and make the most of your investment opportunities.

### **Step 1: Create and Connect Your Wallet**

Knightrade operates on a Web3 infrastructure, meaning all transactions are executed through blockchain. To deposit to a vault, you must connect your crypto wallet.

1. **Set Up a Wallet**: Use a supported wallet (e.g., MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or WalletConnect).
2. **Vault Your Wallet**: Ensure your wallet has sufficient cryptocurrency (e.g., ETH, USDT, or other supported tokens) to cover the deposit amount and transaction fees.
3. **Connect to Knightrade**: Log in to the Knightrade platform and connect your wallet by clicking "Connect Wallet."

### **Step 2: Browse and Select a Vault**

Knightrade offers various vaults managed by expert traders, each with unique strategies and risk profiles.

1. **Explore Vault Options**: Browses the available vaults on the platform, paying attention to their performance history, risk levels, and investment strategies.
2. **Review Vault Details**: Click on a vault  to view in-depth information, including past performance metrics, management fees, withdrawal policies, and lock-up periods.
3. **Choose a Vault**: Select a vault that aligns with your investment goals and risk tolerance.

### Step 3: Submit a Deposit Request&#x20;

Once you’ve selected a vault, you can proceed to deposit:

**Enter Deposit Amount**: Specify the amount of cryptocurrency or tokens you wish to invest.&#x20;

**Review Terms**: Carefully review the vault’s deposit terms, including fees, lock-up periods, and any potential risks.&#x20;

**Confirm the Request**: Submit your deposit request and approve the transaction through your wallet.&#x20;

**Wait for Current Epoch to End**: Deposits are processed at the end of the current epoch, and your investment will be allocated based on the vault's Net Asset Value (NAV) at that time.

After your deposit is processed, you can monitor your investment directly on Knightrade:

View Vault Performance: Access real-time updates on the vault’s performance, including NAV changes and portfolio updates.&#x20;

Manage Your Investments: You can review your active investments and decide whether to submit withdrawal requests during the next current epoch if needed.
