Knightrade provides a simple and transparent process for investors to withdraw their assets from deposited vaults. This guide outlines the steps to follow when submitting a withdrawal request, ensuring you withdraw your investments smoothly and efficiently.
Since Knightrade is built on Web3, all transactions are conducted via blockchain.
Access Knightrade: Log in to your Knightrade account through the platform.
Connect Your Wallet: Ensure your crypto wallet (e.g., MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or WalletConnect) is connected to the platform. This wallet must be the same one you used to deposit in the vault.
Navigate to Your Portfolio: Go to the "My Investments" or "Portfolio" section to view your active investments.
Choose a Vault: Select the vault from which you want to withdraw your assets.
Review Vault Details: Check the vault's withdrawal terms, including withdrawal fees, lock-up periods, and the timing of the next settlement epoch.
Enter Withdrawal Amount: Specify the number of vault units or the total amount you wish to withdraw.
Ensure that your requested amount complies with the vault’s minimum withdrawal requirements, if applicable.
Review Terms: Confirm that you understand the vault’s withdrawal conditions, such as fee structures or any delays due to the settlement epoch.
Approve the Request: Submit your withdrawal request and approve the transaction via your wallet.
Wait for settlement epoch: Withdrawal requests are processed during the settlement epoch, at which point the vault’s Net Asset Value (NAV) is calculated, and payments are executed.
Once the settlement epoch concludes:
Payout to Wallet: Your withdrawn assets will be transferred directly to the wallet you used for the withdrawal request.
Transaction Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation of the withdrawal transaction, including the NAV at which your assets were withdrawn.
Fees Deducted: Any applicable withdrawal fees or exit fees will be deducted before the final payout.
Withdrawal Timing:
Withdrawals are only processed during the settlement epoch, which occurs at the end of the current epoch. Ensure you submit your request before the current epoch closes to avoid delays.
Lock-Up Periods:
Some vaults may have a lock-up period during which withdrawal are restricted. Refer to the vault’s terms for details.
Fees:
Review any applicable withdrawal or exit fees that apply to your withdrawal.
NAV-Based Withdrawal:
Withdrawals are processed based on the NAV at the end of the settlement epoch, which reflects the vault's updated asset value.
